Favorite Things: No. 2
When using cloth diapers, it is a huge no-no to use regular diaper creams.  These tubes of cream can destroy your diapers quickly and cause you to do some major work to salvage them as quickly as possible.  Luckily, I don't know this from first hand experience.  And thankfully, my son has never had a bad case of diaper rash.  When his skin gets a little red or looks slightly irritated I grab my favorite diaper cream of all time, CJ's BUTTer.

This stuff comes in tons of different scents for whatever you may like! I've only tried the oatmeal, milk and honey scent because I wanted something that smells like a bath and beauty product should and also because I find those things to sound healing even if it is just a scent.  We have a tub of lavender scent as well that we haven't gotten to use yet and that would be Chas's favorite.  My sister in law has the green Irish tweed scent and it smells very manly! I wouldn't mind my husband using it for an aftershave! CJ's even comes in unscented for those of you who don't like scents or worry about skin sensitivity.

CJ's is all natural and made with shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil, lanolin, beeswax, vitamin E, and colloidal oatmeal.  It has an extremely low melting point! As soon as I stick my finger in a tub of this stuff it begins to soften up.  We joke at our house that it's a cure all.  Not only is it great for diaper rash, but we also use it as a lotion and to help with treating eczema.  We recommend it to everyone!

It comes in large tubs, as well as a small sample size.  I like idea of the sample size because you can try many different scents and keep them scattered throughout your life (diaper bag, purse, car, nightstand, changing table, bathroom).  We have a 4 oz. tub that we've been using since our son was born 6 months ago and it's only about 2/3 gone.

You'll have a chance to win some CJ's BUTTer along with the Thirsties Fab wipes at the end of my "Favorite Things" series! Have you tried CJ's? What's your favorite scent?
