Bummis Fabulous Flo Pads

This is a sponsored post. I received products in exchange for writing an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own. This post may contain affiliate links which help support the owner of this blog.

I made the switch to reusable menstrual products about 4 years ago. After diving into the world of cloth diapers, it was just the natural thing to do, the next step. Not once have I regretted the decision to ditch the tampons and disposable pads for a menstrual cup or a cloth pad. Reusable menstrual products are much more comfortable, better for your body, and much more convenient! Due to polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), my cycle is extremely unpredictable. I never know when my period will show up. It's so nice to be able to reach into my bathroom cabinet and pull out a cloth pad or a cup when I'm surprised with a visit.

Bummis Fabulous Flo Pads

When Bummis announced their Fabulous Flo pads for the Canadian market a few years ago, I was so excited and bummed at the same time. The product looked amazing, but didn't FDA approval for the US market. So I was super excited earlier this year with Bummis announced that they had received FDA approval and that Fabulous Flo pads were now available for US customers!

Bummis Fabulous Flo pads have soft, breathable organic cotton against the skin and a waterproof backing to prevent leaks. The organic cotton lining is the same material used on Bummis AIO diapers if you are familiar with those. They come in three sizes, pantyliner, regular flow, and heavy flow. The prints are adorable and there's a snap to keep the pad in place and from sliding around. The pads are made in Canada using materials from the US.

I mostly use these as backup with menstrual cup on my heaviest days, but I also use them alone on spotty days before my period arrives or once my flow has slowed down tremendously and a cup is no longer necessary. For the amount of absorbency that I need in these instances a pantyliner is perfect for my needs, but I prefer the length of the regular flow pads so I use those instead. These pads are incredibly thin, like disposable thin! I always forget that I'm wearing them because they are so comfortable and not bulky at all.

If you're looking to make the switch to cloth menstrual pads or are looking for more to add to your stash, I highly recommend Bummis Fabulous Flo pads! They will change your period for the better!
