December Citrus Lane

Our December Citrus Lane box is here! Last year's December box was AMAZING so I had really high hopes for this month, especially after our November box was such a flop! Here's what we got:

Boy, 28 months

Melissa and Doug Chunky Puzzle - I love Melissa and Doug products, truly! They are so well made and a favorite in our household. This is the second Melissa and Doug puzzle we've received from Citrus Lane. My toddler is also really into puzzles these days. Unfortunately, he is into jigsaw puzzles. He is past the shape puzzles. I'll be saving this for a gift.
Retail $10

Pearhead Handprint Art Kit - This isn't something I would buy for my son. I would pass it up in the store, but as a product that was sent to me, I like it! I think this will be a fun activity for my son to do and a great keepsake item for our home.
Retail $15

Barefoot Books I Took the Moon for a Walk - Citrus Lane pairs up with Barefoot Books frequently. We have received a couple other books from them and they are high quality and cute stories! I love the illustrations in this book.
Retail $8

Episencial Snuggly Lotion - In January, Citrus Lane sent us a bottle of Episencial lotion. That being said, I LOVE Episencial products. They've also sent us the Playful Wash and sunscreen in the past. Our other bottle of lotion is the perfect size for my purse. I will definitely be enjoying this bottle as well.
Retail $7

I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. Citrus Lane used to send five products and the past three months there have only been four. Last month they sent a worthless (to me) coupon and this month was a similar experience. Included in our box was a coupon for $40 off an ambassador kit for Barefoot Books (their WAHM sales gig). The kit would still be $100 if you were interested. The total value of this box (minus the coupon) is about $40 and the subscriptions price is $21-$25. So it's still a great value!

We have renewed our subscription for another year. Each month Citrus Lane sends out a survey for subscribers to give their input. I'll continue to let Citrus Lane know how I feel and hopefully they will improve their boxes. If you are interested in trying Citrus Lane, you can sign up through my referral link and save $10 on your first box! While the past two months have been a flop, we've had a whole year of awesome boxes! I'll be posting a "best of" post soon with some of our favorites!
