About Rebecca
I am a spirit-filled, crafty, frugal and all natural momma. I am also a part time hairstylist, but primarily stay home with my kids! I love to figure out how to make anything and everything I can at home, making it as healthy and cost effective as possible. I am extremely passionate about my faith and family, they will always come first!

How long have you been cloth diapering?
I have been cloth diaper for almost 2 years now, every since my first daughter was born.

Why did you choose to cloth diaper?
To save money initially, but as I learned more about it, I love all the benefits they bring to the environment as well as my children. I use cloth wipes and a homemade wipe solution as well.

What diapers are in your stash?
Flips are my favorite, with hemp and unbleached organic cotton inserts. I also use BumGenious 4.0 pockets, as well as FuzziBunz pockets, Thirsties and Swaddlebees.

Favorite diaper in your stash?
Flip covers in all colors with snaps and hemp inserts

Biggest cloth diapering challenge?
Poop. Ha just finding the most effective way to get it off the diaper once the breastmilk only poop has come and gone. We have tried everything and now have a designated "poop spoon" to scrape it off and not have it splash everywhere. Haha!

Favorite thing about cloth diapering?
I love the look of them, but most importantly the cost effectiveness. My oldest daughter is already in the early stages of potty training on her own because she doesn't like to sit in a dirty diaper of any kind. It's much more environmentally friendly as well. There's really nothing about cloth diapering I don't like. :)

Least favorite thing about cloth diapering?
If I had to choose, then getting the toddler poop off/out of the diapers.

Favorite piece of parenting or cloth diaper advice?
Don't give up. There will be hard days and trying days, but keep a positive attitude regardless. Your reaction determines THEIR reaction. Just remember, they're only kids for a short period of time in the grand scheme of things, so cherish every possible moment!

Anything extra you'd like to share?
I love meeting new people and helping new moms in any way I can! I will always do my beat to encourage and uplift those around me!
