Cloth Diapers 101: How to get started
I decided to cloth diaper when I was pregnant with our son, Noah. I knew nothing of modern cloth diapers and was quickly overwhelmed when I started my research. There are a ton of websites, blogs, and stores devoted to modern cloth diapers! If you're like me and are wanting to get started with cloth (and have no friends to help you) it can be very overwhelming!
Check out some of my favorite online resources for tons of info on cloth diapers...
Cloth Diaper Basics from Cotton Babies
The Busy Mom's Essential Guide to Cloth Diapering from Diapershops
The Eco Chic
Dirty Diaper Laundry
Cloth Diaper Users' Guide from the Real Diaper Association
Changing Diapers: A Hip Mom's Guide to Modern Cloth Diapering
This how-to book, written by Kelly Wels, is a phenomenal resource! It was not available when I started using cloth diapers, but I wish it had been!
Local Brick and Mortar Stores
Check the towns around you for a baby boutique that carries cloth diapers. In the town I live in, we have three that I know of! This is a great way to see the diapers in person and usually the store will have someone knowledgeable on staff that can help you personally. My local stores even have classes for parents interested in cloth diapering!
