How to score free diapers! Part 4: Coupons

This is the final post in a series on how I got over half of my diaper stash for free.  You can check out the other posts here:

Part Four: Coupons
My absolute favorite way to get free diapers is from coupon codes! This is a guaranteed, no luck required, way to build your stash!  The only downside to this method is you have to spend money to get the free fluff! A few retailers offer an occasional coupon code with your order.  My favorite retailer to do this is Kelly's Closet.  They almost always have at least one coupon code available for a free diaper when you spend $x. The value of the free diaper changes regularly, as well as the amount you spend to get the free diaper.  If you are someone who doesn't like surprises, you may not like taking advantage of this deal because you can't choose what the diaper will be and you don't know what the free diaper is until you get your order in the mail.  However, if you don't like the diaper you can always resell it new and buy yourself something you would like with the money!

I also suggest keeping an eye out for deal on sites like Zulily and Baby Steals.  They offer discounts on some great diapers occasionally. Just be careful because many times the brands offered on these sites are not good diapers.  Groupon is another possibility, however, I warn you to be careful as I had a not so pleasant experience with a Groupon for an online cloth diaper retailer. I bought a Groupon for $20 worth of product for $10.  I was excited about 50% off for some diapers and decided to purchase two of this same deal!  The retailer did not offer a lot of brands, but they did have a couple that I was familiar with.  I overlooked the typos on the website and the poor design and purchased the Groupon anyway.  I went against my gut and experienced terrible customer service! The package I received came in a torn shirt box like you would use for Christmas presents.  I had a couple other complaints and when I reached out to the retailer they were less than helpful.  In the end they offered me 6% off my next order.  Needless to say, I would not be ordering from them again! Long story short, do your research before buying a Groupon!
